Atypical Education provides bespoke one-to-one academic teaching and learning of subjects to the GCSE level, complemented by a life skills curriculum for young people not in mainstream educational settings.
Additionally, we provide support and guidance for schools, parents, and all stakeholders to assist neurodiverse young people.
Our approach focuses on creating a tailored learning experience that boosts self-esteem and enhances learning capacity, helping individuals become successful learners and adults.
Neurodiversity relates to the natural differences in the brain, the way we think, process, learn and behave. ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and the result of Trauma are all examples of neurodiverse conditions.
By understanding social, sensory, behavioural and learning needs, clear individual programme pathways are created to acquire practical, academic and social skills.
Atypical Education passionately provides and specialises in bespoke, intensive 1 to 1 support for all neurodiverse pupils who are unable to access formal educational environments, require additional support and prepare them to increase their capacity to learn and become successful independent adults.
